Dr. Sue Pediatrics is a direct primary care practice serving Charlottesville, VA and Central Virginia. As your child's dedicated pediatrician, Dr. Sue brings comprehensive, full-service pediatric care to you in the comfort of your home, always with your very own doc. This includes:
Well child checks on the standard preventive care schedule for ages newborn through 20.
Unlimited sick/acute visits as needed (either telehealth or in person depending on my availability and the problem at hand).
Direct access to Dr. Sue by text, phone, and email consistently during business hours and on an emergency basis after hours.
Administration of vaccines on the standard AAP immunization schedule. Vaccine cost is covered through your insurance.
Pricing:
Ages newborn - 2 years: $150/month
Ages 2-21: $125/month
$100 enrollment fee per family

*Single family maximum is $350/month.
Newborn Packages
In-home newborn care with lactation support for families planning to follow up with a conventional pediatric office in the long term. Dr. Sue has extensive experience in lactation and breastfeeding medicine, serving newborn families throughout the Charlottesville, VA area.
All plans begin with a newborn visit within a week of hospital discharge. Subsequent visits occur weekly for the first month, then every other week thereafter until the plan ends. Depending on your baby’s needs and your desire we may do visits more or less frequently. All plans include direct access to me via text, phone, and email for the duration of the plan.
I am an international board- ertified lactation consultant (IBCLC) with extensive experience in lactation and breastfeeding medicine. I can provide comprehensive feeding support for you and your baby, including evaluation and treatment for tongue ties, guidance on latch and positioning, and troubleshooting of pumping issues.
Pricing:
1 month: $800
2 months: $1000
3-months: $1200
*The 3-month plan includes standard 2-month vaccines done in home if desired.
*All plans include transfer of records to the pediatric office of your choosing.
Behavioral Health
Designed for Virginia families who want to stay with their primary care physician but would like consultation and potentially ongoing care for a behavioral health problem (examples include sleep issues, tantrums, school avoidance, educational difficulties, attention problems, anxiety, depression, and other mood problems).
Initial evaluation is $350
Follow-up visits range between $225 and $350, depending on the issue and the complexity.
Visits can be telehealth or in-person.
I am an integrative medicine specialist and will be prepared to help your family with both traditional medication and complementary (non-medication, mind-body, herbal, etc) treatment options for behavioral health and other concerns.
A La Carte Services
Additional services available a la carte for non-members in greater Charlottesville, VA:
Ear piercing: $100
Blomdahl system titanium or medical grade plastic OR
Traditional needle piercing with studs of your choosing (I also keep a supply of studs that you can select from for an additional charge)
Sports/camp physicals: $200
Breastfeeding and lactation medicine visits (90 minutes, in your home): $500
One-time acute visits (available on a limited basis when my schedule allows): From $100 for telehealth, from $200 for evaluation at my home, from $300 for a home visit (specific cost depends on the issue and how far away you are)
For non-members point of care tests have additional associated fees ranging between $10 and $75.
Procedures:
Laceration repair with Dermabond ($100), sutures ($300), or staples ($150)
Foreign body removal ($50-$200)
Abscess drainage ($75)
